Genevieve Taylor
Genevieve began to realize her twin passions of people and planet while in high school. That is when she began an internship with Global Genesis , to learn from her father, Terry Taylor, about how individuals and organizations can change towards personal and organizational excellence. That is also when she read Silent Spring by Rachel Carson, and realized the extent of the impact that humans have on the planet – and how that threatened the survival of the human race and the planet. Her curiosity captivated in these two arenas, in time she joined Global Genesis as an associate while remaining active in environmental entrepreneurship, ultimately co-founding an organization called the Urban Alliance for Sustainability.in San Francisco, and later co-founding and Directing the Sustainable Enterprise Conference,
Now, Genevieve is Vice President at Global Genesis, where she delivers training in leadership, communications, time management, conflict resolution, and negotiations. She takes great delight in working with large groups as well as small groups, and works with her clients in creating shared vision, multi-stakeholder collaboration, strategic planning, mission development, and teambuilding. By founding CircadiaOne, she has brought those skills to bear on her passion for sustainability and business.
She is proud to be an alumna of the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with a degree in Political Science with and emphasis in International Relations and a minor in Geography. She is also a fellow of Leadership Santa Rosa, as well as the Leadership Institute of Ecology & The Economy.
